How do I shop with JarrStar? Is there any charge or obligation for a In-Home appointment?
JarrStar offers a convenient in-home service, at no cost and no obligation to you. We bring samples directly to your home, so you can see how they will look with your existing decor.
Does JarrStar have any showrooms or retail outlets?
We don't have showrooms or expensive retail stores. This keeps our costs low, and we pass those savings on to you!
What type of quality of products does JarrStar offer?
JarrStar offers top quality products only, from leading manufacturers. All JarrStar products are selected for their quality of construction, durability and fashionable appearance. Plus, all carry a long-term warranty.
Can I receive an estimate/quote through email or over the phone?
JarrStar offers a Convenient In-Home Service. Since each home layout and installation is unique, we must evaluate each situation individually before we can provide our customers with an exact quote. Does JarrStar offer name-brand carpets?
JarrStar offers top quality carpets from the leading brand names in the industry, including Mohawk, Shaw, Beaulieu, Milliken, Barrett Mills, Kraus Carpet, Moda Carpet, Van Dyke Natural Fiber Rugs, Camelot Carpet Mills, Masland, Fabrica International, and more.
How quickly can installation begin?
JarrStar carries several basic product lines in stock and ready for immediate installation. Most of our customers choose to special order carpet, which usually takes 5 - 7 business days for delivery. Once the carpet is in our warehouse JarrStar will install it the very next day!
What type of carpet is best for my home?
Several factors should be considered before selecting the perfect type of carpet for your home, including the area of the home and the amount of traffic a room receives. Your Flooring Consultant will help you weigh all of these factors and help you choose the right carpet and underlayment for your lifestyle and budget.
What type of pad or cushion is best for my home?
As with carpet, there are several types of cushions to choose from. Each type comes in different varieties and densities, which determines whether the cushion is soft, firm, resilient, or supportive. Your Flooring Consultant will help you choose the cushion that fits your type of room and the amount of traffic it receives.
What type of warranty is offered on Carpet?
JarrStar guarantees the installation on all of our carpet for two full years and it is further warrantied by the manufacturer.
Will JarrStar remove my carpet and haul it away?
JarrStar will take up your old carpet and haul it to the curb free of charge. There are special situations when we will remove the carpet from the premises. Please talk to your Flooring Consultant for full details.
Will JarrStar move my furniture?
JarrStar will be happy to move your furniture, however moving extremely heavy objects (e.g., pianos, refrigerators, pool tables, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer. We highly recommend removing all small, breakable or valuable items from the room and please empty any china cabinets or dressers prior to installation.
How do I care for and maintain the luxurious look of my carpet?
There are many cleaning methods used today for keeping your carpet looking new. JarrStar offers carpet cleaning services using a dry host extraction method, which is the best known method of cleaning carpet today.

Does JarrStar offer name-brand flooring products?
JarrStar carries a wide variety of flooring brands. Many of the largest manufacturers in the world make flooring to our stringent specifications. Your Flooring Consultant can provide you with a complete list of our brands during your appointment.
How quickly can installation begin?
JarrStar carries several basic product lines in stock ready for immediate installation. Most of our customers choose special order hardwood, which usually takes 5 - 7 business days for delivery. Once the hardwood is in our warehouse, JarrStar will deliver the hardwood floor to acclimate to the temperature of the room and schedule installation the next day.
Can JarrStar sand and refinish my hardwood floors?
JarrStar offers a Sanding and Refinishing Service for your hardwood floor. We traditionally refinish most hardwood floors with sanding, sealing, optional staining, and applying the best and most environmentally friendly water-based polyurethane available today. Oil-based polyurethane is available upon request. A sand and refinish brings your old hardwood floors back to life with a brand new look! How do I maintain the new look of my hardwood flooring?
For all hardwood floors that are refinished with oil-based or water-based polyurethane, initially, broom sweep or vacuum dirt/abrasives from the floor. Damp mopping is the best way to deep-clean hardwood floors. Depending on how much use your floor gets, you may have to mop it as often as once a week. Use a neutral pH wood cleaner and water, or manufacturer-recommended products. Wet the mop and wring so it's about half-dry. Never soaked the hardwood with water, this will lead to problems down the road. Wet the floor with the mop. Dip the mop into clean water, wring it as dry as you can and mop over the floor again. Following this cleaning method will ensure your hardwood floors will look beautiful for year to come.

LAMINATE FLOORING
What are the benefits of using JarrStar for my laminate flooring?

JarrStar works closely with you on design and styling to assure quality laminate flooring to fit your lifestyle.
Do I need to worry about fading?
JarrStar laminate flooring has a fade resistance warranty against fading. Our laminate flooring is also highly resistant to sunlight, scratches, stains and burns.
Can a chip in my laminate floor be replaced?
Even though JarrStar laminate flooring is extremely durable, it is not indestructible. If severe damage to your floor occurs it is possible to have a single plank replaced without ruining your entire floor.
How is laminate flooring installed?
JarrStar laminate flooring is installed using a tongue and groove locking system that will stay intact for years to come. This installation method is a state-of-the-art, glueless technology, so there is virtually no post-installation cleaning required.
Can laminate flooring be installed in all of the rooms in my home?
Yes, our laminate flooring can be installed anywhere in your home. Although, we don't recommend laminate flooring be installed in bathrooms and kitchens where moisture is prevalent. Our luxury vinyl tile is a great alternative to laminate flooring for bathrooms and kitchens.
Can laminate flooring be installed on my stairs?
Yes, laminate flooring can be safely installed on stairs. JarrStar with install any color and style laminate flooring on rectangular stairways.
Can laminate flooring be installed over my existing floor?
JarrStar can install Laminate flooring over any level concrete, vinyl, ceramic or hardwood floor.
Can my laminate floor be installed the next day?
No, laminate flooring manufacturers highly recommend the materials spend 48 hours in the room it will be installed in to acclimate to room temperature before installation. JarrStar will install your laminate flooring as soon as the floor has properly acclimated to the room's temperature.
How do I maintain the new look of my JarrStar laminate flooring?
Laminate flooring is the easiest floor to maintain. Simply broom sweep or vacuum dirt/abrasives from the floor. Dry mopping is the best way to clean laminate floors. Depending on how much use your floor gets, you may have to dry mop it as often as once a week. Use a spray-based laminate floor cleaner or manufacturer-recommended products to clean it. Spray the laminate floor in the area that require cleaning and use your dry mop. Never soak the laminate with water, as this will delaminate your floor.
